This colour chart is obviously for Colourpoints but the
principal is the same for Selfs or CPCs.
When a Colourpoint is bred to a CPC then the resulting
litter can be a mix of Colourpoints and Selfs all of which will be CPCs.
When a Colourpoint is bred to a Self that is not a CPC then
the resulting litter will all be CPCs. There will be no Colourpoint kittens.
When two CPCs are bred together then the
resulting litter can be Colourpoints or Selfs that may or not be CPCs.
(Seal represents black in the Selfs/CPCs)

parents must either be a visual chocolate series or carry the chocolate gene.
In the absence of the chocolate gene in one of
the parents the chocolate colour acts as seal and lilac acts as blue.
Lilac is the dilute of chocolate.
